When I trim my hair only it is very good. It is very sharp! It has a bit of a rounded tip which causes me a problem when I trim my facial hair. That's all.I'm really happy with these scissors. They are cutting through hair easily without any tugging. They are really sharp so be careful using them and cleaning them. I've nicked myself cleaning. I haven't had to adjust the tension yet since it is opening & closing so smoothly at the moment.My wife gives me a trim once a month with these and we have lurched our way up the quality chain from Walmart 10$ to $20 beauty supply scissors to these. If you know what I am talking about you will follow this. We survived each step and would always wonder why we didn't buy the nicer ones sooner. SO here is the free advice. If you know you are going to cut hair (kids and spouse) just buy these. My wife has large hands (5-11) and she says they are fine. We make no pretense of being a salon...but for home trims you will love these smooth as silk (compared to the previous two pair) scissors. Had them 5 months ...I only wish she would let me try to trim her hair - but that is NEVER going to happen.So far these scissors have been great. Nice and sharp. I'll check back in at some point to let you know if they retain their sharpness reasonably. In the meantime, I gave myself a much needed Covid haircut.These scissors do a good job of cutting hair neatly. Before purchasing these, I was using scissors that came with a home barber kit. I was getting torn, and uneven ends. These give me a nice sharp cut. I should have bought a longer length, since I use them for cutting my own hair. With the 6" blades, it's hard to reach the back of my head. Despite my mistake in choosing a length, these are great for doing at home touch-ups.The sheers are easy to use, fit my hand well, and smooth operating. I use them for trimming my full face beard only, and they do a fine job. They're not as sharp as I would like, so they bend and do not cut hairs standing out from the bed of my beard fairly often, but my understanding is that salon quality sheers cost upwards of $400, so these are adequate and affordable.I was looking for a good pair of shears and picked these because of the reviews. I have never been happier than with these. They are very sharp and cut very easily. Previously used a cheaper version which I thought were decent until recently when they went blunt. From the get go these are sharp. When cutting hair, it's smooth and crisp. I was genuinely impressed although these are far more expensive than previous pair you certainly feel the quality and difference enough to justify the price. Hope the sharpness will last and I am already looking forward to using these again.I am a professional hairdresser had honestly I can't use these. They are lovely and smooth but the tips are blunt making haircutting very difficult.The scissors are sharp but the tips snag and pull the hair.I bought these for my daughter who is a hairdresser by trade, after using them for the first time, she could not believe how sharp they were and how blunt her old ones were. Very pleased would recommend.So far it's going well, I can't say much as I've only used them once to cut my hair. And I'm not a professional stylist or anything like that.
