I bought these because I do a lot of sewing and machine embroidery. Over the years I've purchased many pair of scissors at a cost of $8 - $12 a pair. I took a chance with these and I'm sure glad I did. These are good quality, are a little bigger than others I've purchased, and are perfect for my use. The only draw back was the shipping time. As long as you aren't in a hurry these are a great buy.As the prior review states, the scissors are very good quality and a bit bigger than usual embroidery scissors. From tip to handle end, they are almost 5 inches. They are sharp and work well for getting under embroidery thread. It is really nice to have multiple pairs. They are a great value & well worth the wait for extended shipping time!Some were great and some were medium quality had flaw at the bend of the scissors had gaps in betweenThese little scissors are very sharp.Love this curved tip for my machine embroidery.Very easy to use
